We all know that it’s important to save for our older years and here at Keepmoat Homes we make it as straightforward as possible. We have two pension providers and, depending on your role, you will be auto-enrolled into one of these schemes after 12 weeks’ service.
Auto enrolment into People’s Pension will be based on 1% employee and 1% employer contributions and Scottish Widows will be based on 1% employee and 2% employer contributions. If your role aligns you to the Scottish Widows scheme based on 3% employee and 3% employer contributions, you will have the option to join this scheme after you have successfully completed your three or six-month probationary period.

Childcare vouchers allow you to exchange a proportion of your salary for vouchers before the usual tax and NI contributions are taken. This means you could save over £900 per year on childcare costs until your child is 15.
Our childcare vouchers are managed by Sodexo, so if you’re interested in applying, please contact your payroll department.
Cycle to work scheme
Are you a keen cyclist or an enthusiastic amateur? Either way, you’re eligible to apply for our cycle to work scheme. This benefit enables you to lease a bike and safety equipment up to the value of £1,000 to use for your journey to and from work. The cost of leasing the bike will be spread over 12 months and taken from your gross salary, saving you money on tax and national insurance. We know how important your holidays are, so we give you the chance to have even more! Every year, we offer our employees the opportunity to buy additional holidays, to a maximum of 30 days per year.
The window to book extra holidays is open in January every year, so look out for further communication from the HR department nearer the time.
