Keepmoat Homes speaks to Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee on Modern Methods of Construction

Yesterday afternoon Keepmoat Homes was pleased to be invited to give evidence to the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee on modern methods of construction (MMC) and how it can be utilised to deliver more homes.
James Thomson, Non-Executive Director of Keepmoat Homes appeared alongside representatives from Barratt Developments, Taylor Wimpey and Pocket Living to discuss the home builder’s approach to MMC including the use of timber frame construction and modular construction.
Mr Thomson explained the benefits to Keepmoat Homes partners and customers of using Modern Methods of Construction including the speed of delivery and improved efficiencies in running costs as a result of greater levels of insulation.
