Sales Centre opens at Great Harwood, Lancashire

Show homes on a new housing development have been formally launched by Keepmoat Homes, one of the UK’s leading home builders.

The development named Lyndon Park is being delivered by Keepmoat Homes in partnership with Hyndburn Council and is close to the historic centre of Great Harwood. When it is complete it will feature 217 homes in a mix of two and three bedroom homes perfect for first time buyers alongside four bedroom detached family homes. 44 of the homes are available for sale through Heylo’s shared ownership scheme, which is a particularly useful way for new households to get onto the housing ladder.

Work started on the site in February 2018 and 14 residents have already happily moved into the development which will be fully developed by 2023.

Craig Murphy, Regional Managing Director for Keepmoat Homes commented at the opening: “The opening of these new show homes marks a significant milestone in the evolution of this site. We’re delighted to be delivering 217 much needed new homes to the area and to be working in partnership with Hyndburn Council.”

Cllr Miles Parkinson, Leader of Hyndburn Council, said “I’m delighted to see this development taking place at a pace. It’s refreshing and reassuring to see demand for new, quality homes in a great location. We should not forget our other key partners, especially the Agricultural society, Great Harwood Rovers Football Club and Reilly Developments who all had land interests and played a significant part in enabling this excellent new housing development to go ahead.”
